Se estima una <strong>baja en la industria del 7%<\/strong>. En\u00a0<strong>Loma Negra\u00a0<\/strong>la ca\u00edda rondar\u00e1 el 10%, pero conf\u00edan en que habr\u00e1 una recuperaci\u00f3n en el segundo semestre de 2020.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<section>\n<div class=\"entry-body title-font\">\n<div id=\"lx_645403\" class=\"__lxG__multi __lxG__multi_lx_645403\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-21816944056-1\" data-google-query-id=\"CPGF2qnPpuYCFaMEuQYdpVAIdQ\">\n<div id=\"google_ads_iframe_\/45470634\/clickio_area_645403_728x90_0__container__\">\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>A fines de 2017, no daba abasto en Argentina la producci\u00f3n de cemento. En ese contexto, Loma Negra puso en marcha una mega inversi\u00f3n de US$350 millones en Olavarr\u00eda, para\u00a0<strong>aumentar un 40% su capacidad de producci\u00f3n<\/strong>. La planta estar\u00e1 lista en junio y operativa en noviembre, pero el contexto cambi\u00f3, y mucho.<\/p>\n<p>Este a\u00f1o, Loma Negra tuvo que apagar los\u00a0<strong>hornos de Barker,\u00a0<\/strong>las hist\u00f3ricas plantas de Sierras Bayas y San Juan. En un a\u00f1o y medio pas\u00f3 de tener 1.700 empleados a 1.500.<\/p>\n<p>Sobre el futuro de la cementera, el CEO de Loma Negra,\u00a0<strong>Sergio Faifman<\/strong>, dijo a\u00a0<strong>BAE Negocios<\/strong>: &#8220;El contexto cambi\u00f3 y\u00a0<strong>frenar la inversi\u00f3n era m\u00e1s caro que seguirla.\u00a0<\/strong>Cuando arranque en noviembre, la mayor\u00eda de la producci\u00f3n saldr\u00e1 de la nueva planta. Sumaremos 110 trabajadores, algunos son exoperarios&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Asegura que se va a priorizar el mejor costo variable y agreg\u00f3: &#8220;No pensamos en\u00a0<strong>reducir el personal<\/strong>, pero trabajador que se vaya no se repondr\u00e1. Vamos a revisar todos los costos, en especial los log\u00edsticos, usaremos energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica, todo ser\u00e1 revisado&#8221;, agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Las expectativas para el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o son alentadoras. &#8220;Esperamos una recuperaci\u00f3n en el segundo semestre. Creemos que el pr\u00f3ximo gobierno lanzar\u00e1 un plan de viviendas, algo que se anunci\u00f3 en esta gesti\u00f3n y no se hizo. Se<strong>\u00a0reactivar\u00e1 el consumo<\/strong>\u00a0y mejorar\u00e1 el poder adquisitivo.
